Resting Place is about the beauty in manmade structures and shapes within the natural frame of the mountains and the sea. Once practical and useful, these structures and objects give hints of a past and a former life. They are discarded and rest in the outskirts of towns, where they have found a new purpose and use in the landscape, adding to the form and beauty of the fjords. Photographed in the Westfjords of Iceland in the summers of 2020-2021.
